How renewal cancellation, consumer withdrawal and remedies for a defective purchase differ, and how to contact us.
This document is structured in short sections so the main obligations are easier to scan.
Users should read the legal pages together with the practical product guidance.
Cancel renewal
Use website billing controls or the Stripe billing portal to cancel future subscription renewal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the trial or paid period. You keep access until that boundary subject to account restrictions and payment state. Ordinary cancellation does not by itself request a refund.
Eligible Starter/Pro trials last 30 days after billing setup; the selected plan then renews at its disclosed price unless cancelled. Creator has no trial. Check the order summary for your dates and charges.
Consumer withdrawal and digital-service exceptions
Consumers covered by EU/EEA distance-contract rules normally have 14 days from concluding a service or digital-content contract to withdraw without giving a reason. A free trial does not automatically create a new withdrawal period at its first charge. Other mandatory rights may apply where you live.
A statutory digital-content exception requires the conditions set by applicable law, including separate express agreement to early supply and acknowledgment of loss of the right. A general terms checkbox or opening the app is not such a waiver. For a service started at your express request, only a lawful proportionate charge may apply; full-performance exceptions also have specific conditions. OttoTrader does not treat its current ordinary checkout terms checkbox as a withdrawal waiver.
Submit and keep a withdrawal notice
Use the linked form, email [email protected], or send a clear statement to Zlatech Soft SRL, Libertatii 18, Casin, Bacau, Romania. Include your name, contact email and enough information to identify the contract, such as an order reference, plan/listing and purchase date. You do not need to give a reason or sign in.
The online form lets you review the notice before confirming it, records its receipt time, provides a downloadable copy and queues an email acknowledgment. Receipt acknowledges your notice; support will verify the contract and apply the appropriate cancellation/refund. The form never places or closes trades. Contact us by email or post if the form is unavailable.
Suggested notice: “I notify you that I withdraw from my contract for [product/order reference], concluded on [date]. Name: [name]. Contact email/address: [contact]. Date: [date].” A handwritten signature is needed only if you choose a paper notice.
Refund handling and defective purchases
Where a statutory withdrawal refund is due, reimbursement is made within the applicable legal deadline, normally 14 days after notice, using the original payment method unless another permitted arrangement is agreed, without a refund fee. We may request information needed to identify the purchase but do not require a reason for withdrawal.
Duplicate payments, OttoTrader billing errors, advertised refund promises and mandatory remedies for content or services not supplied as agreed remain reviewable. Depending on the issue and applicable law, remedies can include correction, a price reduction or termination/refund. Trading losses or disappointing backtests alone do not establish a software defect.
A marketplace seller’s 30-day refund promise is additional to statutory rights. “No voluntary refund” means only that no additional seller change-of-mind policy is offered. It does not remove mandatory consumer protections.
Complaints and independent routes
Send complaints to [email protected] with the order reference and the issue; never send card security codes or exchange keys. Marketplace reports can also use listing complaint controls. You can seek assistance from ANPC, its alternative-dispute-resolution service where applicable, or the competent courts. Contacting us first does not waive other remedies.
Romanian law governs the contract subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights in your country of residence. The former EU online dispute-resolution platform is closed; use current national complaint routes instead.
